City of Cocoa's Space Coast Mardi Gras - February 27th in Cocoa Florida

Don't miss four days of family fun, February 25-28th, 2010 in beautiful historic downtown Cocoa Village and Riverfront Park this spring as title sponsor Bright House Networks presents the City of Cocoa's SPACE COAST MARDI GRAS.

Formerly a one day Cocoa Mardi Gras Street Party, the event has been transformed in to a four day family festival celebrating the true meaning of the celebration of the Mardi Gras season called The Space Coast Mardi Gras. The event will feature four days of family fun with a major carnival by Schweers Midways including FREE and paid concerts all situated along the picturesque Cocoa Riverfront Park. The Riverfront Park Amphitheatre will feature free entertainment all week.

The Central Brevard Humane Society will present "Paws in the Park" on Sunday at 1pm featuring all kinds of pet contests and fun activities in Riverfront Park. Cocoa Main Street will present The VIP Masquerade Party on Saturday night beginning at 6pm in the Cocoa Civic Center.

The Saturday night street party and parade of floats presented by Central Florida News 13 will feature many exciting floats, four stages of live entertainment, stilt-walkers, a junk-a-noo band and exciting dancers.

Admission is for the Saturday night street party only. All other days are FREE admission.
